The Hotel, as a personal data controller, collects and processes certain information about individuals.

This information may relate to employees, managers, clients and guests of the hotel, suppliers, contractors, business contacts and other individuals with whom the Controller has a relationship or wishes to establish business contact.

This privacy policy regulates how personal data should be collected, processed and stored to meet the standards of the Controller’s organization and comply with legal requirements.

This privacy policy is issued pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act and the regulations for its implementation, as amended, (“Bulgarian legislation”), and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR” or GDPR).

What is meant by “personal data” and “processing of personal data”?:

“Personal data” is any information by which an individual can be identified directly or indirectly by one or more characteristics specific to their identity – such as: name, identification number/PIN, contact details – location/postal address, telephone number, email address, online identifier/IP address, images from video recordings, etc. These characteristics may be part of the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, intellectual, economic, cultural or social identity of the individual.

Our attitude towards your personal data

The Hotel attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and collects and processes personal data only in compliance with the requirements of local and European legislation. The purpose of this “Privacy Policy” is to inform you how we process your data and what personal data we would collect about you, for what purpose, period and respectively what your rights are.

The security of the data you have entrusted to us is very important to us. That is why we protect your data by applying all appropriate technical and organizational means that are adequate for the possible risks to the rights and freedoms of individuals, to prevent unauthorized access, unauthorized or malicious use, loss or premature deletion of information.

What information do we collect and why?

We may collect personal data about you when you use our Site or choose our services. In most cases, we require your personal data for the purpose of concluding a contract, to comply with a legal obligation or to protect our legitimate interest. When concluding and executing a contract – to register the guest at the Hotel, to prepare accounting documents such as a bill or invoice for the services provided to you; for the purpose of notifications related to our services;

When fulfilling a legal obligation – for the purpose of obligations provided for in the Tourism Act, the Accounting Act and the Tax and Social Security Procedure Code and other related regulations, in connection with keeping proper and lawful accounting; for obligations to provide information to all state commissions and regulatory bodies, as well as court; when fulfilling obligations in connection with online reservations (distance sales) and sales outside our hotel premises;

With your consent – for direct marketing of our products and services;

Based on our legitimate interest – conducting video surveillance in our commercial premises;

Your personal data is stored with us according to the purpose for which it was collected and within the statutory deadlines.

When we may disclose your personal data:

We apply a set of measures to protect your personal data from loss, theft and misuse, as well as from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. The Hotel uses third parties to assist with certain contractual activities or when fulfilling a legal obligation. We do not provide your personal data to third parties before we have ensured that all technical and organizational measures have been taken to protect this data, and we strive to exercise strict control over the fulfillment of this purpose.

It is possible that under circumstances provided for by law, your personal data may be disclosed. For example, with your express consent or with permission from the Personal Data Protection Commission, your personal data may be provided to third parties. The provision of personal data in some cases is mandatory to comply with our legal requirements, such as: Regulatory bodies, including state commissions, institutions and agencies, NRA, NSSI, courts, prosecutor’s office, and others to whom we are obliged to provide personal data under applicable law. It is possible, when necessary or appropriate, for your personal data to be provided for the purposes of national security or when problems of public importance arise.

Facebook Pixel

We use Facebook Pixel, a service of Facebook. This service uses “cookies” stored on your device that allow advertising to be targeted through the Facebook advertising platform to its users, as well as to users of Facebook partner companies, such as Instagram, who have already visited our website in the last 180 days. This service also provides opportunities to create aggregated anonymous audiences of visitors based on the content viewed on the site, as well as tracking the success of advertising campaigns implemented through Facebook’s advertising platform. Our website also contains links to Facebook and Instagram. In this case, the transfer of data to the mentioned social media operators takes place only when the respective button of the icon illustrating the link is pressed. If you click on such a button, the page of the respective social network opens. There you can publish information about our services according to the rules of the social media operator. You can use our official profiles for contact on various social networks, as well as other official public profiles of the company.

The personal data you send via private message will be processed only for the purposes of answering your inquiry. We are not responsible for information and personal data that you voluntarily share on our official profiles without being expressly requested from you.
